I'm an Argentinian developer and a former CNC machinist. I'm on an advanced stage of kidney disease and about to enter hemodialysis. Fighting to get disability benefits (appointed for trial in December).

I'm the creator of a GIS of the entire railroad network in Argentina (current and historical), a project in active development. Also, the dev behind Yottablog, a blogging engine for the small web.

My current status, a disabled person without a certificate for it, makes it a hell to earn my living wage: no one will hire me because of my disease, but also there's no way to get a job under our version of Disability Act (“Cupo por discapacidad”) because I still have no certificate for it. Also, no certificate, no benefits.

I need about ARS 50,000 per week, or around USD 50. That's just to cover my fixed expenses. A little more to buy groceries and other essential supplies.
