So, right now I'm a glassblower. It sounds cool but it's unfortunate as I am a disabled person (nonbinary) with fibromyalgia. I don't have a problem with glass itself! Its neat, I'm happy for the experience and I've learned a lot about how to get a lot of things done in a short and structured manner from it. Not very many people get the opportunity to learn to be a flameworker-- I often hear that it's some people's dream to learn the trade.

However my body and my hands just cannot take it anymore. Tendonitis, carpal tunnel, fibro. I already had depression and anxiety but its making them ten times worse. Art, on the other hand, is always therapeutic. I want to make a graphic novel and do freelance character design. I know my body and health would appreciate it.

The amount I'm asking per week it enough to cover rent and, in the future if I need it, a few days a month working in a friend's shop to produce enough to take care of other expenses such as bills, my phone and commuting. Also, paying said friends for those few days. I need time for my hands to heal and desperately. So here's hoping a few patrons are really into illustration!
